My Skiing History:
I was on my first pair of skies very early on in life. My dad used to take me skiing in a backpack at Crystal Mountain in Washington before moving to Steamboat Springs Colorado when I was two. I skied on alpine skies with the Winter Sports Club before making the switch to tele around age 9. I have continued to grow in telemark ever since and joined the USTSA team during the 2018-2019 season. In addition for competing in telemark I also compete for the Steamboat Sailors Alpine Ski Team, but telemark is still my go to.

My Goals and Motivation:
My motivation for the most part is to beat my dad, former tele World Cup racer and National Champion. Other than that I want to compete in World Cup Races and continue to climb the ranks in America.

What I Love about Telemark Racing and Skiing:
I love the community and support of telemark racing.
Telemark in a whole is an amazing community that loves to compete and just let the stereotypical stress of ski racing behind in their tracks. It is a more fun and enjoyable place where anyone who you’r competing against will be cheering you on at the finish line and supporting you at all means. Telemark in my eyes is just one big happy family.

Interesting Facts About Myself:
In addition to telemark racing I love to do tons of other outdoor activities. During the summer I’ll be biking, rafting, hiking, rock climbing, paddle boarding, dirt biking, and anything with family or friends involved. I also love to cook and bake and anything that has to do with food. I may get some shrugs for this, but I also love to alpine race with my high schools ski team and qualified for state in slalom racing as well.
