My Skiing History:
My parents first date was at Cannon Mt. and soon there after they brought their children to teach them to ski. I have been skiing primarily Cannon ever since. About twenty years ago my wife taught me to telemarking. I haven’t put on alpine boots since.
My Goals and Motivation:
I used to volunteer at festivals all over the east for New England Telemark. I enjoyed meeting like minded people and spreading the gospel of telemark. I see my role as being a facilitator and ambassador for the sport of Telemark skiing.
What I Love about Telemark Racing and Skiing:
I’ve heard it said that telemark skiing is to skiing what fly fishing is to fishing- it’s got soul. I love the camaraderie and competitiveness of the racers.
Interesting Facts About Myself:
I run an architectural woodworking business and can be found in the backcountry- skiing, biking, or fly fishing.
