My Skiing History:
Growing up in a skiing family, I’ve been involved in skiing and the ski industry my entire life. I became a product of the Mount Snow and Mount Tom ski schools, and continued right through to being a ski instructor in both ski schools. I was a freestyle skier back in the beginning, specializing in ballet. I fell in love with Telemark skiing and have never looked back! I am PSIA certified Level II both in Alpine and Telemark and plan on continuing my training in Telemark Instruction and Racing.
My Goals and Motivation:
Have fun. Ski Telemark. Have more fun. Race Telemark. Enjoy all the people I’ve met – and ski with them. Have even more fun….
Now that I’ve moved to Vermont full-time, I can ski MORE!
What I love about Telemark Racing:
There is nothing quite like the feeling of dancing down the hill when on Tele. There’s a motion and a freedom that is simply MORE than just skiing. Racing really challenges me to be accurate! I already like to go fast, but to go fast WELL is an exciting challenge.
Interesting Facts About Myself:
I am involved with Weimaraner rescue and have helped save and rehome quite a few dogs, and serve on the board of The Grayter Good Weimaraner Rescue. I’ve taken up quilting, focusing on Modern Quilts, and hope to have some pieces ready to show before ski season starts!
