My Skiing History:
I am a former long time US Telemark Team Member returning to the team after a few years away.  I raced alpine through High School and one year d-1 NCAA at St. Lawrence before I stumbled upon tele gear and took to the woods, only to rediscover racing, this time with leather boots and three pins, upon moving back to Buffalo after a stinit in Colorado working at Eldora Mtn.

My Goals and Motivation:
Continue to improve and learn from time racing how to both get faster for myself and lessons that relate to becoming a better coach for my home area Jr. USSA alpine team.

What I love about Telemark Racing:
It is just more fun! Easy going folk for the most part, but not without a desire to compete and win. The facets of Telemark skiing beyond just the gates (Skate, Rap and Jump) lead to a more interesting venue and leave me personally with a lot to work on (jump lines!).

I am a father of two, Reid ( I remember a world champ of that same name!) and Sydney and husband of Chris. I have my entire family involved ski racing now as I run the Race dept., while Chris coaches the “gatebusters” youth and my 7 and 10 year olds race USSA 4/5s with the rest of the team and I. Recently bitten by the Ultra trail running bug, completing 2, 50 mile races completed and training for 100 mile, 20,000 feet of elevation gain event in 2013. That takes a special kind of stupid to do one of these events, it really is best to ride the chairlift up and shred a GS course on the way back down!

Competition Results:
A handful of 2nd place US Nationals overall, a third overall, a SL National Interesting Facts About Myself: Championship, an 11th at a WC Classic and a bunch of top 15s in World Cup races inc. a top 15 season overall world cup ranking.

3rd. Place overall 2012 National Championships, Gunstock NH
