My Skiing History:
I began skiing and racing in New Jersey. We moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado when I was 12 years old. I competed in alpine ski racing up through J1, skiing all disciplines. My best alpine result was a second place SG finish at the Rocky Mountain Smartwool Series. I began racing telemark in 2006 at the US Telemark Nationals. In 2007 I finished 6th place overall at the US Nationals winning a spot on the US Telemark B Team for the 2008/9 season. Last year I finished 3rd overall at the US National Championship at my hometown mountain which was sweet!
My Goals and Motivation:
I look forward to improving on my results and competing at World Cup events in the US this year.
Why do I Telemark Race?
It has been fun adapting my alpine race skills to telemark racing. Jumping and skating add some new challenges. Telemark racers are a fun loving and competitive group. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the World Cup Circuit.
