Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club will offer a New Year’s Camp for Telemark skiers interested in racing. Ty Upson, coach at Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and the US National Team coach will lead the camp. ALL levels are welcome. The camp will run from Wednesday, January 2^nd through Saturday January 5^th. There may be a USTSA sanctioned race on Saturday January 5^th depending on camp participation. The cost will be $50 per day and lift tickets will be about $40 at Mt Warner, less at Howelson Hill. Lodging will be on your own. The camp will include gate training, skating and simulated races, video analysis. We will also be using the Nordic jumps to work on our jump work. Bring Nordic skate gear if you have them. We may have time to cover tuning and some winter strength maintenance program for folks too.
