My Skiing History:
I started skiing when I was three years old, but as you would expect from any memory from early childhood, I remember none of it. In my early ski years, I skied at Stratton Mountain in VT, but for the past few seasons my family and I have skied mostly at Pico VT. I started skiing Tele when I was nine. The following season I skied Mt. Washington for the first time, conquering some of the steepest terrain I have skied to this day, on Tele. Currently, I’m working on improving my freestyle techniques.
My Goals and Motivation:
For the 2020-2021 season I am motivated to ski well because I love being in the snow, and being a part of a great community. Some of my goals for this season include placing better in races and growing more confident in both turning and jumping.
What I love about Telemark Racing:
Telemark adds a layer of complexity to my skiing and challenges me to be a better skier. It is also more fun…
I love being in the snow, my favorite outdoors scene, with my friends and family. In terms of skiing style I love going to Mt. Washington NH where everything is steep and naturally beautiful.
Interesting Facts About Myself:
A few interesting facts about myself include that I am an avid mountain biker and enjoy school. I also race XC running and aspire to be a better park skier.
