Minus33® to Provide Base Layers and Socks for US Telemark
The United States Telemark Ski Association (“USTSA”) is pleased to announce that its racers will be outfitted with base layers and ski socks provided by Minus33®, beginning this season. Minus33®, based in Ashland, NH, has been a preferred retailer of merino wool base layers for many of USTSA’s eastern members.
“We are very glad to welcome Minus33® to the telemark family as a Gold Level sponsor of the US Telemark Ski Team” said USTSA President Garrett Long, “We are each working to improve the reach and awareness of our organizations and USTSA is excited to have the opportunity to showcase Minus33® as we work towards increasing the National and International awareness of telemark racing and telemark skiing. Having the right apparel while skiing, and particularly ski racing, makes a tremendous difference in both the enjoyment and performance of our racers”.
Minus33 Marketing and Assistant Sales Manager Craig Sexton echoed a similar sentiment saying “Minus33 is very pleased to become an official sponsor of the US Telemark Ski Team. Sexton went on to say, “Our brand continually looks for new opportunities to promote exciting winter sports and the US Telemark Ski Team certainly fits that mold. We are looking forward to a long partnership together as the USTSA makes its bid to become an official Olympic sport.”
USTSA will be hosting a series of races in the Rockies and in the Northeast this season and is looking forward to displaying the new apparel at ski resorts across the country as well as at FIS World Cup Telemark races in Europe.
