USTSA hosted World Championships and the Junior World Championships in Steamboat Springs, February 24-27. This was the 2nd FIS World Championships in the USA. The first was in 2003. There was an earlier World Championships in Aspen, CO in 1990 sanctioned by the World Telemark Committee.

US Telemark Teams were given new names for the 2015 season. What had been the “A” team was renamed the “World Cup Team” and what was the “B” Team was renamed the “US Team”. The “Development Team” and the “Regional Team” were rolled into the “Development Team and includes all ages.
