Fall In The Wasatch

Fall in Central Wasatch

It seems to have started to cool off in Utah, though temps in mid-80s may not seem all that cool to a lot of you. Just what the doc ordered after one HOT summer!

I’ve spent a lot of time up in the mountains over the last week or so for various reasons, and I am always reminded of just how much I love them. I have been very busy with work the last month especially, and haven’t been noticing the leaves changing as gradually as usual. Lis and I were up in Jackson, WY over Labor Day and the leaves were changing up there, but it wasn’t until a friend’s wedding Saturday at the top of Snowbird’s tram, and a back-roads drive home from the sailboat last night that I really noticed how much color the mountains have these days!

Now that gets me into fall training mode! Who else is ready to THINK about skiing (we don’t want to rush right in to skiing just yet)?!

See you on the trails! (Soldier Hollow Olympic venue is just down the valley from this photo).
