My Skiing History:
I started skiing alpine just before my third birthday in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. From there I skied many weeks in Alta, UT where I was exposed to telemark skiing. My home mountain until 2009 was McCauley Mt in Old Forge, NY. Since then I have been training at Loon Mt in New Hampshire.

My Goals and Motivation:
My goals for the 2010/2011-race season are to finish in the top 15 at a world cup and to finish on the podium for juniors at World Championships. I hope to finish in the top 6 at US Nationals and make the A team.

Why do I Telemark Race?
I enjoy the speed and challenges of telemark. The jumping and skating in addition to the gates makes telemark racing much more exciting and entertaining. Telemark is a good way to push your body to the limit in many aspects in one race.

Interesting Facts About Myself:
I am a senior at Holderness School in Plymouth, NH. I enjoy waterskiing and bare footing in the summer months as well as cycling. I am slowly working my way through the 46 Adirondack High Peaks and hope to finish them all before I can’t do them any more.
