My Goals and Motivation:

Goals: Top ten finishes in World Cup races.

Motivation: I love challenges; the harder the better. Very self-motivated. Pretty competitive personality. I keep in top shape by lifting weights and playing hockey twice a week.

Why do I Telemark Race? I love the sport of telemark skiing and competing just came natural. Surprisingly I still feel that the telemark turn is still progressing and changing. If I can just figure out a better turn, I might just have a chance at winning.

Interesting Facts About Myself: I work full-time selling real estate in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. My son Finn is now on the US World Cup Team.  I don’t have a lot of spare time to train but when I do I train with efficiency and intensity.

  Competition Results:

  • 1st Overall in 2012 National Championships.
  • Several top 15 finishes in 2012 World Cup races.
