My Skiing History: I started alpine skiing as soon as I could walk and took up alpine racing shortly after. I joined the Steamboat telemark team about four years ago (when the team primarily consisted of Lorin Paley and myself), and have been teleing ever since!
My Goals and Motivation: I am in it for the free t-shirts at the events.
Why do I Telemark Race?
It is fun and challenging. At first, I will admit, I started telemarking to get better at alpine, but it was a lot more fun, so now it is all I do!
Interesting Facts about Myself:
I enjoy long walks on short beaches.
My favorite vegetable is zucchini, and my favorite part of the tele turn is the top, right before diving into the powder.
I dislike salmon colored clothing, hamsters, and the number 17.
My pickup truck’s name is Amadou, and, once, I watched my coach crash through a snowboard gate on skate skis.
