About Me:
I began skiing when I was three.  I skied recreationally until I turned seven, then I started alpine racing.  I tried telemarking in 2001 and attended my first nationals in 2003.

Home Ski Area:
Waterville Valley, NH

Goals, Attitude and Motivation:
This year I would like to finish in the top 15 in the overall world cup standings to improve on my best World Cup finish of 10th place.  I am also excited to get to know all of the athletes even better.

Why do you Telemark Race?
I telemark race because of the people I get to meet and the great times I get to share with them. Attending a world cup event allows me to be around people from so many other nations and cultural backgrounds who all share the same desire to compete.  I also enjoy telemark racing because in order to excel at it, I must acquire an abundance of skills and use them simultaneously.  I enjoy exerting myself an-aerobically, testing my strength, the thrill of speed, the sense of flight obtained by jumping, and competition.  Telemark Racing consists of all of these things, which must be executed with finesse.

Interesting Facts about yourself:
I enjoy spending time with my parents and brother, Mike.   I also like to compete in outdoor track in the 800m.
