World Championships and Junior World Championships– Thyon, Switzerland.
Many US racers attended World Cup Finals at Oberjoch, Germany prior to World Championships. US racer David Hobbs crashed off the jump in Oberjoch and was airlifted off the mountain and returned to the US with two fractured vertebrate. The next season, USTSA partnered with Global Rescue to provide medical evacuation services for the US team.

Brett Stein receives Bronze medal in the Classic at Junior World Championships.

Drew Hauser receives bronze medal in GS at Junior World Championships. He also had a silver medal in the Sprint.
