My Skiing History:

I started skiing when I was 3 years old. I have always been in the SSWSC program in Steamboat. Up until I was 9 years old I was an alpine skier. Then, when I turned 9 I started Telemark skiing and in turn joined the SSWSC Telemark program. I started Telemark racing around the same time that I joined the Telemark ski team.

My Goals and Motivation:

My goal is to become an amazing Telemark racer. I hope that one day when Telemark skiing is in the Olympics, that I will be able to participate. My motivation is that I am passionate for racing and I am very competitive. I always try to be the best person and racer I can be, and my passion for this sport pushes me to be the best I can be.

What I Love about Telemark Skiing and Racing:

Telemark racing is such a unique sport to participate in, and the environment that racing has is so amazing. The people in this sport are so easy going and fun to be around. Skiing in general gives me a sense of freedom that I don’t feel in any other sport.

Interesting Facts about Myself:

A few interesting facts about my self is first that I have a twin sister named Rebecca also joining the Telemark race team. Another fact is that I am a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Lastly, I play the Saxaphone in band.
