My Skiing History:

I started alpine skiing when I could walk and around age five I began to telemark. My parents put me in my first holiday camp with Schweitzer Alpine Racing School (alpine) when I was nine. A year later I went to my first Telemark National in Whitefish, MT. I have raced in five US Telemark Nationals and two Canadian Telemark Nationals.

My Goals and Motivation:

I was excited about last season and my results with coming back from knee surgery. For this season I am hoping to be able to go to Europe to compete in the Junior World Cups and World Cup races. I am going to work on improving my skating technique and becoming more comfortable in the air for the jump.

What I love about Telemark Racing:

I love telemark racing because of all the different obstacles of the course. I used to be an alpine racer, so being able to jump skate and do the wrap makes telemark racing all the more interesting and fun!
I feel as though telemark racing requires an athlete that is very well rounded and I really appreciate that.

 Interesting Facts About Myself:

I love to mountain bike, run, backpack, climb and paint.
I am most recently trying to learn how to white water kayak.
