Goals, Attitude and Motivation:
This is my Second year on the national team and I am very excited to improve my racing and start to move up in the world cup ranking. Fun is my motivation, and I have fun training with the local Nordic and Alpine race teams.
Why do you Telemark Race?
I Telemark because I enjoy the challenge. I like to ski fast and push my physical limits. The jumps are definitely a big plus, but nothing beats powder on telemark skis. The people in Telemark racing are also the coolest people ever.
Interesting Facts about yourself:
I am a mountain unicyclist, which basically means I ride my unicycle down trails that normal people wouldn’t even think about trying to walk down. Basically I’m a little bit weird. In the summer I water ski at my cabin, my personal best is 32off @ 29mph. In the fall I am the starting goalkeeper for my high school soccer team. My younger brother is also a Telemark racer, but he does it more for the traveling and fun than the racing, which is totally the way to go.
